River location: On the north bank of the River Bure, the last safe mooring before the tidal stretch of the river flowing into Yarmouth.

Facilities: 24hr free visitor moorings. Fresh water. close to the village

In the village there is a candle makers, a pub and village stores. This is a popular and safe place to moor whilst waiting for low tide in Yarmouth, the only time to cruise through Yarmouth and out onto Breydon Water, south of Yarmouth, and onto the South Broads on the River Yare. If you set off just before low tide it is about 2.5 hours to safe moorings the other side of Breydon Water. The changing tide will assist your passage through Yarmouth. It is possible to moor at the Yarmouth Yacht Station but take advice from 01603 612980. There is an information LINK below. The Yarmouth moorings are chargeable.

Further moorings are available towards Yarmouth at the Stracey Arms. Here there is a shop and access to the A47.
