River location: At the end of Lime Kiln Dyke from the south west corner of Barton Broad. The River Ant runs through Barton Broad. Gayes Staithe also has access to the broad.

Facilities: Visitor moorings (24hr Free) at Neatishead Staithe, Gayes Staithe and Barton Turf Staithe. There is a small staithe at Irstead on the River Ant downstream of Barton Broad on the west bank with no facilities.

There are three villages close to Barton Broad and Neatishead is the largest. There is a pub, restaurant and a shop. A short dyke leads to Gayes Staithe (between the villages of Neatishead and Irstead) and here you can have a boat trip on on the solar boat "Ra". Barton Turf is to the north west of the broad with its own public staithe  There are car parks near the staithes and some luxury properties have been built to the north of Neatishead with gardens leading down to the river.
